Severe weather tracker

Good Thursday, everyone. We have rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms continuing to take aim at our region. This action might become more widespread than what we have seen in recent days.

A wave of severe thunderstorms might affect parts of Central and Eastern Kentucky early Thursday. This could be a big-time wind maker across the region, with the worst just to our north and east.

Skies clear by early afternoon with highs in the low 90s. Winds will be very gusty ahead of a line of thunderstorms developing across the north. That line might become severe, with damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes.

In addition to the severe threat, heavy rain might cause more flash-flooding.
