Good Wednesday to one and all. We have an absolutely awesome brand of air blowing across our region over the next few days. This taste of September isn’t going to last very long, so enjoy it while we can.
As we look ahead toward the Fourth of July weekend, thunderstorms look to take center stage in our part of the world.
The first round of boomers might swing in here ahead of a cold front by Friday afternoon:
That front should put the brakes on right on top of Kentucky. Cool air to the north will do battle with hot air to our south. The result could mean rounds of showers and thunderstorms this weekend and early next week:
Some strong storms and heavy rainfall will be possible in this type of a setup.
