June ends on a great note

Good Thursday, everyone. We are putting the wraps on June with a very nice weather pattern across the region. This awesome air is about to give way to rounds of showers and storms that will affect our Fourth of July weekend.

Highs Thursday reach the upper 70s to low 80s under a mostly sunny sky.

Friday’s weather will feature a slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will reach the low 80s in many areas. The front responsible for the scattered storms might bring another drop in temperatures Saturday.

Showers and thunderstorms might drop just to our south early on, but will slowly return northward by Saturday night and Sunday. Watch how the storms increase from Sunday into the Fourth:
