Scattered storms ready to rumble

Good Monday to one and all. We are coming off one heck of a weather weekend across the Bluegrass State. Pleasant temps combined with ample sunshine to give us spectacular weather. That changes in the coming days, with scattered storms back in the region.

Highs Monday will be in the mid- and upper 80s with an increase in humidity. That could fire up a few showers and thunderstorms.

The scattered storms increase a bit for Tuesday and Wednesday as temps inch up. We could see highs near 90 degrees by then, but the humidity might be the biggest player.

A cold front gets ready to blow into town by Thursday. This front should have a potent line of showers and thunderstorms along it:

Some of the storms along that boundary could be strong to severe. Temps come down over the weekend, but the threat of a few storms might linger.

As a matter of fact, the models over the next few weeks continue to spit out some significant rain totals:

Have a magnificent Monday and take care.
