Good Friday, everyone. We continue to see absolutely awesome weather rolling on across the Bluegrass State. As ugly as the past few months have been, this is a pretty good payback from Mother Nature.
Our day starts in the 50s and ends with highs topping out in the upper 70s to the low 80s. Things continue to look picture-perfect for Wildcats fans heading out to Commonwealth Stadium:
Sunday’s forecast looks equally nice. Lows will be in the 50s, with highs from 80 to 85 degrees.
The Labor Day picnics should go off without any problems. Sunny skies continue as temps hit the middle 80s.
Steamy temps and scattered storms look to return to the region by Tuesday and Wednesday. That setup is likely to carry us into the start of the next weekend. This is when we start to see some chilly changes showing up on the models.
The GFS has been showing some pretty good shots of colder than normal air for the middle of the month:
Have a great Saturday and take care.
