Tracking scattered storms

Good Wednesday, everyone. We have scattered showers and thunderstorms blowing back into the Bluegrass State. This action is ahead of a weak cold front arriving from the northwest, and it’s the first of two fronts due in town in the coming days.

Wednesday will be rather humid, with temperatures again in the 80s. Not everyone will see rain, but some locally heavy downpours will be possible:

That weak front might move just to our south on Thursday, giving us some better air. Highs should again be in the low 80s, as humidity levels come down a bit. The day looks dry.

Showers and thunderstorms will then be scattered about the region from Friday into the weekend. This could bring some additional locally heavy rain. Still, this doesn’t look like a total washout of a weekend by any means.

Looking for some cool fall weather? The CFS continues to find some, but not for a few more weeks:

Have a wonderful Wednesday and take care.
