Good Saturday, folks. It’s the start of October and the weather has certainly been acting the part of late. We have had a true fall feel over the past week, and that’s going to continue into the weekend.
Our big upper level low continues to slowly pull away from the region today. It’s still going to be able to squeeze out some scattered showers and thunderstorms, though. Just like the past few days, we will also be seeing plenty of sun and clouds with highs mainly in the 60s.

Temps early next week should be back into the low and middle 70s with mostly sunny skies. That takes is up until another cold front starts to impact our weather Thursday or Friday. The passage of that front may be dictated by what ultimately happens with Hurricane Matthew.
This system will cross Cuba this weekend and head into the Bahamas. From there, we see some models diverging on what happens with it. The GFS is most threatening to the east coast:
Make it a great day and take care.
