Late-week changes on the way

Good Monday, folks. We continue to see some awesome fall weather across Central and Eastern Kentucky. This nice pattern has a few more days left before changes blow in later in the week. Those changes should bring some needed wet weather our way.

Monday should start with temps in the upper 30s and some patchy frost. Afternoon highs will range from 65 to 70 in most areas. Skies stay sunny.

Tuesday and Wednesday will see windy weather and highs returning to the 70s.

A cold front then crashes the fall party Wednesday night and early Thursday. That should bring a broken band of gusty showers and thunderstorms our way:

Highs will be in the 60s.

Another system then zips in from the west. The models show some significant showers Friday into early Saturday:

Sunday will find us waiting on another cold front arriving from the northwest. This front is showing signs of producing more widespread showers and thunderstorms into Monday:

We can use the rain, so this more active setup is exactly what the weather doctor ordered. I bet you didn’t think we would say that back in the summer! 😉

Have a magnificent Monday and take care.
