Good Thursday, everyone. After a record setting warm start to November, things are going to finally feel a little more like they should for this time of year. A cold front is marching across the state today and will bring some seasonal temps with it.
This front will also touch off a scattering of showers and thunderstorms. This won’t be very much rain at all, but we can’t be choosy at this point. Winds will also be very gusty as the front slides in, as temps drop through the 60s.
As usual, I have the blog set up as your one stop shop for all your weather tracking needs:
Gusty winds will be noted on Friday with highs coming way down. Many of us will see highs in the mid to upper 50s on a gusty northerly wind. As winds die down, temps by Saturday morning will drop into the 30s:
Frost is a good bet on Saturday morning, then again Sunday morning. Highs over the weekend will be in the 60s.
If you’re going out to Commonwealth Stadium Saturday evening, temps will be dropping through the 40s with clear skies.
Our next threat for rain may arrive as early as late on Election Day. I will touch more on that potential with my next update.
Have a great Thursday and take care.
