Good Sunday to one and all. Frosty mornings with pleasant afternoons have dominated the weather across Kentucky this weekend. As we roll ahead into Election week, things are slowly starting to change.
Highs today and Monday will be in the mid and upper 60s across the entire area. This is more of the good stuff, so soak it up.
Election Day continues to look mainly dry, but a weak cold front is going to try and spawn late day showers. The GFS shows a better chance for rain blowing in Tuesday night into Wednesday morning:
Highs behind that front will only reach the 50s for Wednesday as clouds linger.
Another system rolls our way by Friday night and Saturday. This front has a much bigger push of cold air with it:
Their is even an outside shot of seeing a snowflake somewhere in our region before the weekend is over.
That may be the opening act for a much colder period of weather taking shape for the middle of the month:
Make it a great Sunday and take care.
