Good Friday and Happy Veterans Day to all those who have served this country. We will have another cold front blowing across the region later in the day. This boundary won’t have any moisture with it, but it will have a shot of cold air for the weekend.
Let’s start with Friday. Highs will generally range in the upper 50s on a gusty wind. Once the front passes, temps take a tumble and will drop into the upper 20s to low 30s by Saturday morning:
Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 40s in the east and the mid 50s in the far west. A widespread freeze takes place Saturday night and Sunday morning:
A couple of upper level systems will then affect our region over the first part of next week, and could bring some shower sour way.
The first weak system moves in Monday:
A bigger system dives in late Tuesday and Wednesday:
That should give us an increased threat of some showers to go with seasonally chilly air.
The system following that for the end of the week into next weekend continues to look much bigger. The models all show a potent storm system sweeping across the country, with the potential for winter weather behind it:
Make it a great day and take care.
