Good Monday, everyone. Our work week is off and running with rain moving away from the region. This will soon be replaced by additional rounds of arctic cold temperatures and the threat of some winter weather.

Arctic air moves back in here by the middle of the week as a front sags in from the northwest. As expected, the models are back to seeing a band of light snow and flurries. The GFS puts a little snow down.:
This sets the stage for an interesting couple of systems starting Friday and taking us through the weekend and into early Monday.
The new version of the GFS:
That model shows a mix developing then going over to rain from Friday into Saturday. As another arctic front moves in behind it by Sunday, you can see a low pressure developing along it with ice and snow.
Have a great day and take care.
