Good Saturday, everyone. We are coming off one of the warmest winter days on record for the bluegrass state, but Old Man Winter is back today. This taste of winter won’t last very long as mild weather rolls back in here early next week.
Snow flurries may fly today with temps in the upper 30s and low 40s. Gusty winds will make it feel much colder:
Temps by Sunday morning will drop into the 20s and recover to around 50. Winds will be gusty ahead of a few showers moving in for Monday. High temps will be back to around 60.
Tuesday will feature warm and windy weather as we get set for another big storm system to impact our weather. This could bring another round of strong storms and heavy rains by Wednesday:
Colder weather moves in behind that and the models are really taking a turn toward cold by next weekend. Check this out:
The GFS Ensembles are also putting the core of the cold in our region from March 6-11:
That’s a cold look as we roll into March. Can it deliver some of the white stuff? It’s certainly happened many times before.
Have a great Saturday and take care.
