Good Wednesday, folks. Things are looking much, much better out there, but more storms are ready to rumble over the next few days. Just like what we had Tuesday, some of these storms could be strong or severe.
Let’s start with Wednesday. Highs will be in the 60s, with a mix of sun and clouds across Central and Eastern Kentucky.
Much warmer air is set to surge in Thursday, as highs reach the mid- and upper 70s:
This warm and juicy air is ahead of a potent storm system taking shape in the Mississippi Valley. That bad boy rolls into the Ohio Valley later Thursday and Friday, with rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms possible.
Here’s the Thursday severe-weather risk outlook from the Storm Prediction Center:
Damaging winds and large hail will be the main threats.
Additional showers and storms will then continue Friday, with heavy rains and gusty winds.
The weekend weather looks pretty darn good, with highs in the 60s on Saturday and low 70s on Sunday.
That nice weather wont last very long, with another storm coming at us early next week:
Make it a wonderful Wednesday and take care.
