Good Thursday to one and all. It’s a busy forecast period, with all kinds of outdoor events going on as we head into Easter weekend. The temps moving in could not be any better for everything going on. What about the storm chances? Some boomers will be around.
Highs Thursday range from 75 to 80 degrees for much of Central and Eastern Kentucky. This bodes well for the home opener of the Lexington Legends:

Friday and Saturday will see highs hit 80 in most of the region, but there is a small chance of a storm.
The storm threat will really ramp up on Easter Sunday, with highs in the 70s. Some of the storms later in the day could be on the strong side:
We will keep the warm weather into next week, but “bowling ball” type systems will roll from west to east across the country. Here’s one for early week:
And here comes another later in the week:
Those will bring rounds of strong to severe storms from the Plains states into the Ohio Valley. Heavy rains are a distinct possibility in our region. You can see that on the rainfall forecast:
