Good Thursday to one and all. We are dealing with a super warm day across the bluegrass state, but the weekend heavy rain threat is taking center stage. This can lead to some issues, with local high water issues possible.
Highs today are in the 80-85 degree range with a small chance for a shower or storm. A broken line of storms will then move in here later this evening into early Friday morning. Some of those storms may be strong:

Friday will see the best chance for rain south of Interstate 64 as we head into the afternoon. This happens as our cold front stalls out on top of the region.
This is ahead of a slow-moving system rolling across the state with very heavy rain into the weekend:
Many of the models continue to advertise a lot of rain:
That would be more than enough to cause some local high water issues.
