A summer feel fires up a few storms

Good Wednesday to one and all. Summer temps and high humidity have invaded the Bluegrass State, and this will hang around for a few days. This round of summer air will lead to scattered storms before better weather moves in for Mom’s big weekend.

Highs Wednesday range from 80 to 85, with the chance of scattered storms around. Any storm that goes through can be on the strong side. Here are your tracking tools for the day:

Thursday’s weather looks very similar, with the potential for a few strong storms, but the day will feature lots of dry times. Highs should again be in the 80- to 85-degree range.

A better chance of widespread rain will be with us Friday as low pressure passes through. Highs for the start of the weekend will come way down:

Mother’s Day looks really, really good, with highs topping out in the 70s with mostly sunny skies. You’re welcome, Mom. 🙂
