Good Tuesday, folks. We are just a few days away from flipping the calendar to a brand new month, but our weather pattern pretty much looks the same as the one we are in now. The setup continues to look stormy, with temps skewed a little cooler than normal.
Let’s begin with Tuesday. Highs will be in the mid- and upper 70s in many areas, with a mix of sun and clouds. There could be a scattered storm or two, especially during the evening hours.
Similar conditions will be noted for Wednesday as another cluster of storms drops in from the northwest.
As we roll into early June, another dip in the jet stream dives into the region:
That is likely to fire off more rounds of heavy rain-producing showers and thunderstorms:
This action could cause a few high-water problems, as our ground is pretty waterlogged.
Temperatures will take a big drop during this time, with below-normal temps expected into the first full week of June. That will only get reinforced by a deeper-looking system diving in from the northwest:
More rain and lower temps will be possible during this time.
Have a terrific Tuesday and take care.
