Good Tuesday to one and all. A cold front is dropping into the state, bringing a few showers and storms back into the Bluegrass. This reinforces the cooler-than-normal setup, but warmer and stormier times are just ahead of us.
Tuesday’s stuff is fairly scattered as the front slides in from the northwest:
Highs Tuesday will be only 70 to 75 degrees, and that’s not too far from being as cool as it can possibly be for this time of year.
Highs on Wednesday will hit 75 for 80 for most of Central and Eastern Kentucky, with a mix of sun and clouds. Wednesday looks really good.
Thursday and Friday will find humidity and temps both on the climb. Highs will again be in the normal 80s, but some thunderstorms might come calling.
Those storms really ramp up this weekend, with a cold front dropping in from the northwest. Some strong storms and heavy rain are possible during this time. The front slows down and hangs tough in our region into early next week, giving us storm chances for the Fourth of July:
Temps will be a little below normal during this time.
Make it a great day and take care.
