Good Tuesday, folks. Moisture will be on the increase over the next few days as we get ready to track another cold front our way. That front will unleash another fall feel for the weekend, and that might carry us into early next week.
Highs Tuesday are in the middle 80s in many areas under a mix of sun and clouds. There could be a few isolated showers and storms trying to pop up:
Wednesday will see similar temps across the region, with a touch more humidity. A scattered shower or storm is likely to develop during this time.
Those showers and storms will continue to increase Thursday, with the bulk of the action arriving Friday. That’s when our fall cold front arrives:
Highs on Friday are only in the low and middle 70s, with gusty winds cranking. The air behind this front is borderline chilly-looking on the GFS. Take a look at the forecast morning lows for Saturday:
Highs this weekend are generally in the 70s, with clouds streaming in again by Sunday. Those clouds should produce more rain into early next week, but the temps stay lower than normal:
