A big blast of fall temps ahead

Good Wednesday, folks. We continue to focus on a big time fall cold front heading our way later this week. That will unleash another big blast of fall air for the upcoming weekend, but it’s a pattern threatening to turn wet.

Highs today are generally low and middle 80s with a mix of sun and clouds. These clouds will spit out some scattered showers and thunderstorms…

That action will increase on Thursday with temps back in the 80s.

Our front slams in here on Friday with gusty winds and temps staying in the 70s for highs. A line of showers and storms will be along and ahead of the front:

The air coming in behind this is VERY cool and could send our temps to near 50 degrees by Saturday morning. A few upper 40s are possible.

Saturday afternoon looks amazing with highs in the 70s and partly sunny skies.

Clouds increase on Sunday as another system works our way. Showers and storms will also increase later in the day and may kick off a fairly active pattern through next week. Here’s the action to start the week:

Temps during this time should stay well below where we should be for early August.

Have a great day and take care.
