Good Wednesday, folks. We continue to track the next round of showers and storms toward the Bluegrass State. This action arrives over the next few days as our temps continue to skew lower than normal.
Speaking of cooler than normal, take a look at just how cool the first week of August was across the country:
Highs on Wednesday are in the low 80s, which is still below average. A few showers and storms might try to develop across the southern parts of the region:
Showers and storms will then increase Thursday and Friday, as another low works across the region:
Locally heavy downpours will be possible during this time. That will leave the door open for another system to work our way later this weekend. The most likely rain chances look to be Saturday night and Sunday, but it’s all about the timing. Highs this weekend should be in the upper 70s to low 80s.
Another deep trough probably digs into the eastern part of the country next week:
That would bring another huge cool-down, with some additional rain leading the charge.
Make it a great day and take care.
