Good Sunday, everyone. Our slow-moving cold front is finally well to our south and east, leaving the bluegrass state with a gorgeous end to the weekend. Can we keep this nice weather rolling into the week ahead? Probably not. 🙁
Highs today will range from the upper 70s to low 80s with a mix of sun and high clouds.
The next threat for scattered showers and storms will return late Monday into Tuesday. The chance doesn’t appear to be the greatest in the world, but we will keep a close eye on it. Highs will be in the low 80s.
Wednesday is the first day of school in Lexington and for several other districts. The current setup could bring scattered showers and storms that would continue into Thursday:
That action may increase on Friday, the kickoff to high school football in the bluegrass state:
The overall pattern won’t be as cool as the past few weeks and temps may even average normal to a bit above. The CFS model shows this well:
