Good Wednesday to one and all. A brief surge of milder air is blowing in, but snow chances are on the way. Those chances kick into high gear for our Super Bowl weekend.
Highs Wednesday range from 45 to 50 on a gusty southwesterly wind. That wind is ahead of a Thursday cold front that zips in from the northwest. This front looks to move through quickly, with rain changing to snow.
The fast movement of the precipitation shield probably means limited snow accumulations, mainly in the east and southeast:

That’s a shot of arctic air coming in behind this for Friday, with our weekend snow chances rolling in quickly from late Saturday into Super Bowl Sunday, with another system on Monday.
