Good Sunday, folks. Our Super Bowl Sunday is featuring a lot of different weather across central and eastern Kentucky. From snow, to rain, to a combination of the two, Old Man Winter has a little something for everyone.
Early this morning is going to be very interesting across parts of central and eastern Kentucky. The initial precipitation starts as rain, then goes to snow for several areas.
Those getting in on the snow can see it come down pretty darn hard for a while, leading to a slushy accumulation. The greatest chance for this happening is across north central and northeastern parts of the state. There’s the chance for a thumper in a few spots
Any area is fair game for, at least a coating, but that doesn’t mean EVERYONE gets snow. The precipitation goes over to light rain later in the day, then back to some light snow tonight.
