Good Wednesday, everyone. It’s the first full day of spring and we are tracking a snowmaker across the Commonwealth. This system is putting down accumulations and causing slick travel for several areas.
Here’s a look at the current winter weather advisories and warnings:
Slick roads will be an issue, especially early today. Light snow and snow showers will continue through the afternoon, before finally ending from west to east. This sets the stage for a cold night as temps make a run toward 20 degrees.
After a couple of decent weather days on Thursday and Friday, another storm system takes aim at the region. It’s a much colder look showing up with the Saturday system, leading to the potential of rain and snow. The European is ugly:
The GFS is very similar to the European, but is a little farther south with the snow axis. Ugh.
I leave you with your first day of spring snow trackers…
