One more brief shot of winter

Good Sunday to one and all We have one more shot of winter rolling in tonight and early Monday, but spring is ready to flex a little muscle for the week ahead. This may send temps toward late May readings by Thursday and Friday.

After a bitterly cold start for this time of year, temps will rebound quickly into the upper 40s and low 50s. Clouds will increase, ahead of a system working in from the west. This will bring a quick hitting blast of light rain and light snow late tonight and early Monday:

That reinforces the chill through Tuesday, but a major swing toward warm is on the way for the rest of the week. Highs hit the 60s by Wednesday, with the 70s showing up on Thursday. We can make a run at 80 by Friday:
