Good Monday, everyone. Rounds of showers and storms are rumbling across the bluegrass state, kicking off another stormy week. The storms out there today may cause a few issues as they rumble through.
Here’s the area I am most concerned with:
This setup can put down several inches of rain, leading to high water issues developing. Keep a close eye on water levels as the storm clusters roll in through today.

Additional rounds of showers and storms will then roll across the state Tuesday into Wednesday. This action is along a weak boundary setting up shop across the region:
Heat slowly builds in later this week, before kicking into high gear this weekend through the 4th of July. The core of the heat is to our north during this time, with a massive heat wave for the Great Lakes into New England:
This will give us a nice run of days of 90 degrees or better for much of the region, but moisture is going to return from the eastern Gulf of Mexico. That is likely to fuel a few more thunderstorms to help us out in the temp department.
