Good Friday, folks. I know this won’t come as a big shock to any of you, but more showers and storms are in the forecast. Yes, I know, it’s a broken record at this point.
The first weekend of August is beginning with a storm or two on the move for this Friday. Outiside of the storms, temps are in the 80s with a mix of sun and clouds.

As mentioned, the showers and storms do increase as we head into the weekend. Here are the GFS rain numbers through Sunday night:
Any shower or storm action can put down enough rain to cause some local flooding issues to develop. Many areas picked up a lot of rain over the past week, so a cloudburst or two could cause issues.
Temps may come down some from where we are today.
The numbers rebound early next week, but a potent system diving in from the northwest may cause a few issues:
Strong storms and torrential rains will be possible during this time. All of this is coming from a another deep trough digging into the eastern half of the country…
