Good Wednesday, folks. A cold front continues to press across the region, with a few more shower and storms on the Wednesday weather menu.
Today’s action may continue to bring some locally heavy rains, especially in the first half of the day. Here’s the mid-week edition of your storm tracking toys:
Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms will likely hang around into Thursday and Friday. Each round may contain very heavy rainfall, with additional, local high water issues possible.
As we roll into the weekend another system is likely to have a big impact on our weather. As I’ve mentioned for several days now, another upper level system may slowly move across the Ohio Valley, bringing more in the way of very wet weather. Rounds of showers and thunderstorms look to be on the increase once again…
Heavy rainfall will once again be the main threat, as we continue to be on guard for local high water issues. This is a very abnormal pattern for early August, but it fits the overall pattern for the entire year.
Have a wonderful Wednesday and take care.
