Good Thursday to one and all. I feel like a broken record, but the weather of late has actually been the broken record… Rounds of showers and thunderstorms continue to rumble across the Commonwealth.
Today’s action looks to be a little more scattered than the past few days across the north, but should still be pretty active across the south.

Storms may become a little more widespread on Friday as we see another upper level system working in here for the weekend. Notice how this closes off right on top of us:
That leads to some on again off again showers and storms through next week:
This is a continuation of our wetter than normal year, with this likely taking us through the rest of the month and into September. Check out how much of the country will be experiencing above normal precipitation during this time:
There’s likely a lot of back and forth in the temperature department with a wet setup like that.
