Good Tuesday and welcome to another very steamy day. Humidity levels are off the charts ahead of a cold front slated to arrive late Wednesday into Thursday. That will increase our threat for showers and storms, some of which may linger into the Labor Day Weekend.
Highs today will only be in the upper 80s to near 90, but the humidity will make it feel much higher. Heat index values today will be around 95 during the peak heating of the afternoon.

A cold front moves toward the state on Wednesday, bringing an uptick in the amount of showers and storms. That front then slows down and hangs around our region for the rest of the week and into, at least, part of Labor Day Weekend. The end result is rounds of showers and storms:
