Good Saturday to one and all. Colder and drier air is moving into the state today, bringing us a nice break from the wet weather. Don’t let it spoil you because another big storm is on the way to end 2018.
Highs today range from the upper 30s to low 40s with a mix of sun and clouds. Breezy conditions will make it feel a little chillier. Clouds will increase on Sunday as our next storm draws closer.
This system is looking potent with heavy rain, strong storms and high winds… Again. This is another monster:
Rainfall of 1″-3″ will be possible, leading to the potential for flooding. A few of the storms may even be on the strong or locally severe side.
With or without storms, high winds look to become an issue again. The European Model has winds nearing 60mph:

Much colder air comes in behind that with our next storm system developing and working our way by Thursday and Friday. The models are still correcting this thing farther west.
