Another busy setup on the way

Good Saturday to one and all. It’s a cold start to the weekend, but we are gearing up for another very active weather pattern moving in by Sunday. This kicks off a setup that can deliver additional flood threats to the state.

Temps out there today are in the 30s under a mix of sun and clouds. Gusty winds will make it feel like the 20s for much of the day.

The first system arrives Sunday and may bring rain, mixed precipitation and a touch of snow:

There is some indication for a few hours of freezing rain before rain takes control. Once that rain takes control, it becomes heavy at times Monday into Tuesday. This is just another in a long line of systems ready to hit our region through next week:

Rainfall totals through next week are way up there and we could be looking at flooding on more than one occasion. Check out some of the totals:

The GFS Ensembles are also hitting this wet pattern over the next few weeks:

They also show the cold finally gaining control, bring more snow back into the picture:

Make it a sensational Saturday and take care.
