Good Sunday to one and all. Mother Nature continues to be in summer mode as we roll through our Memorial Day weekend. As the temps continue to stay steamy, storms will increase later today and a few could be strong to severe.
The Storm Prediction Center has much of the region in the low-end risk for severe storms through tonight:
The main threats are damaging winds and large hail.
Outside of the storms, high temps should be in the 85-90 degree range once again.
Memorial Day will find that boundary still hanging around the north and east and that could fire off a few more clusters of showers and storms:
Once again, a few strong storms will be possible and could crash your cookouts.
A fairly stout cold front may cross the region late Wednesday or Thursday, touching off another round of storms:
Temperatures behind that front will be cooler than where we are now, with another shot of cooler air likely arriving during the first full week of June.
As always, I have you set to track the stormy skies showing up on this Sunday:
Make it a good one and take care.
