Good Thursday, everyone. We continue to track a few showers across the region, but the cool temps are the topic of the day. Near record low highs are possible in some areas as another autumn looking air mass settles in.
Once this pulls away, the rain train rolls back into town.
Let’s focus on today and roll forward. A few showers and gusty winds will be noted as temps stay in the 60s for highs. That’s pretty crazy to see for this time of year. Here are your tracking toys for the day:
As skies clear up overnight, temps can drop deep into the 40s and some locations may set record lows. Here’s the GFS…
The Hi Res NAM is even cooler…
Friday continues to look very good with temps in the low and middle 70s with a mix of sun and clouds.
Saturday is a mainly dry day with humidity levels and temps creeping back up. This is ahead of another system set to bring showers and thunderstorms our way by Sunday. This stormy setup is likely to continue through much of next week. The Canadian rainfall numbers are up there…
This isn’t a very good looking pattern for the next few weeks, at least.
Have a great Thursday and take care.
