Good Saturday, everyone. We are coming off a very nice and cool few days, but stormy times are on the way. It’s an all too familiar pattern that will likely put down a lot of rain over the next few weeks.
Let’s begin with today and roll forward. Highs are generally in the upper 70s and low 80s with an increase in humidity levels that can fire up a few showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms may be strong or severe. Here’s the latest Severe Weather Outlook from the SPC:

This front slows down across the region through next week, sending waves of showers and storms with it. This doesn’t mean it will storm all the time, but when it does storm, it’s gonna put down a ton of rain. The GFS shows this well over the next few weeks:
It’s also a pattern that will continue to throw some strong or severe storms at us from time to time.
