Good Sunday, everyone. It’s another fairly mild day, but a couple of showers and storms are joining in on our spring fun. This action will be with us through the middle of the upcoming week as temps stay mild.
Later in the week and into next weekend, a chillier pattern continues to look like it will be settling in here.
As always, we start with the precious present and move forward. Highs today are cooler than Saturday as the numbers may not make it to 70. That’s because of a little more cloud cover and the increased threat for a shower or storm. This doesn’t look very widespread, but it will be floating around from time to time.
Here are your radars to do some Sunday tracking:
Monday through Wednesday will feature a few more storms showing up as temps spike back into the 70s. There’s the chance for a few strong storms showing up during this time.
Cooler weather moves in late in the week, but a much colder look may take shape after that. Don’t do any planting by any means. It’s still too early for that!
If we look much farther down the road, we find the European Model Weeklies showing a return of a very wet pattern, but it comes with temps averaging closer to normal.
Here are the rainfall anomalies from mid April through mid May:
The overall temperature pattern for the same time averages near normal:
Have a great Sunday and take care.
